Sixteen concrete parabolas, reaching skyward and self-sustaining, give this
modern cathedral its extraordinary shape. Writer Barros Ferreira made an 
interesting comment when he saw the cathedral’s framework under construction:
The temple’s massive frame is shaped like the poles of an Indian tent, and
instead of solid walls, it will have the weightlessness of glass.
