(Apprentice Sailor School), established in 1910. The school’s first building (pictured)
faced Rio Sergipe, on present-day Avenida Ivo Prado, near Praça Almirante Tamandaré.
Today the Capitania dos Portos de Sergipe (Sergipe Port Command) occupies this site.
